The day our daughter was born, she was flown out to Flagstaff Medical Center Nursery. We called and checked on our daughter, S, several times and Julie was on the other side of the line reassuring us that S was fine and doing well.
Finally, our day came to come to FMC to meet our daughter and we met Julie for the first time as well. She is a caring, humorous, gentle and smart woman. There were many challenges during the course of our daughter's stay at FMC. In fact, several times S required CPR. One time Julie performed CPR on S and she had tears in her eyes. We are so grateful that Julie worked hard to keep our baby alive. She is not just a nurse in the Special Care Nursery, she is a mother with a big heart.
