Julie is the Clinical Coordinator for the 7th and floor at Zale. She is fully committed to the patients, the staff, management, and the unit as a whole. She exhibits extreme compassion with every patient. She sees people with a delicate eye and seeks to not just make their hospital stay a good one, but help them reach realistic goals that will help them become and stay healthy. She validates patient's feelings and helps them deal with difficult diagnosis; she involves interdisciplinary help early in the care process. She has initiated multidisciplinary rounds here on our floor and has made the implication as easy for all disciplines as possible. She is well respected by her peers. Julie often stays to help the unit when her work day is through. Julie always, "takes one for the team". We, at UT Southwestern Medical Center – Zale Lipshy Hospital 7th floor, and our patients are most fortunate to have her.
