Julie exhibited the Methodist SHINES values with excellence. I was greeted by her with compassion and great hospitality. I learned very quickly that her job is more than a job but something she is enthusiastic and dedicated to and she serves from her heart.

I worked for 40 years as a registered nurse and Julie's skillset and accurate ability to know her job description was quickly noted. I felt very safe under her care. Everything she did was above and beyond the call of duty. 

Julie is an excellent conversationalist. She is very kind and compassionate and expresses her desire to participate in medical mission trips to other countries (one day), which exhibits her desire to help and care for other people. 

One of the things I overserved about her was she was always one step ahead of knowing what my needs were. This is not a quality I've seen exhibited in other medication personnel from experiences in working on other facilities very often. 

I felt well cared for and she was able to answer all the questions I had and her friendliness helped me to relax and know that I was getting the best care possible. 

You are very blessed to have Julie as an employee and she is a great example of quality as a registered nurse. 

All of these qualities I just mentioned caused me to see Julie as an Extraordinary Nurse and definitely feel she deserves the DAISY Award. Thank you Julie for all your great care. I highly recommend MDMC.
