Julie is so inspiring with her words and her story has made me realize that it’s okay to be afraid and everything will be okay and fall into place – it's a journey, not a destination.
Julie has not only made this entire experience unforgettable for me, but she has made a huge impact on my life. She is so inspiring with her words and her story has made me realize that it's okay to be afraid and everything will be okay and fall into place - it's a journey, not a destination. She has made me feel so welcomed into this unit and has been nothing but an angel to everyone who is here and to the people who walk in the door. She is a true DAISY Nurse.

Julie was authentic, patient, compassionate, and kind during her shift. Julie exercised the appropriate authority to run the floor of detox/psych unit. I witnessed and experienced her gracious nursing skills. I appreciated her meaningful self-reporting while running the 7 pm AA meeting. Her honesty moved the patients and I was grateful that the pain of my relapse was personally understood by her.
