Julie is the best Team Leader. She always is willing to help and answer questions.
Julie Rivera is our unspoken hero. The hardworking Family Medicine Team Leader, who puts her nose to the grindstone and goes above and beyond to assist any and all who need help. It doesn't matter if the patient's need is related to Family Medicine or her doctors’ office, she takes care of it. There are numerous stories about how she goes the extra mile to help our patients. As an exceptional nurse, Julie supports the care of all patients by mentoring our nursing staff and jumping in when any team needs her.

Julie doesn't refuse to assist frustrated patients with questions or problems even though the patient may not have an appointment. She takes the time. She's very caring.

Julie also received two Building Awards First Quarter, 2010 in recognition for her contributions to the TEAM MVJ Spirit and for her contributions to Innovation and Improving Day-to-Day Operations (please see certificates attached). She was the Co-Leader for the DirectConnect Optimization Project and serves as the UNAC Partner for MVJ and Labor Co-Chair for our Unit-Based Team on Service, the "We Care Committee".
