Julie Schwichtenberg, RN

I came in with a terrible infection and was put on antibiotics and pain medications via IV. Julie monitored my IV closely in case she had any concerns because I was poked many times and was a hard stick. She also made sure to try and keep my pain under control throughout the night. On my final night, I was very itchy and broke out in hives. Julie called for extra Benadryl to keep me as comfortable as possible. I was alone because my boyfriend was not able to spend the night with me, and Julie knew I was scared and hurting. She helped me several times, made sure I had lotion on my back, and frequently checked on me throughout the night, and that meant the world. Julie is an amazing nurse and deserves to know that.
