It was a very busy night on the seventh floor (orthopedics and med-surg trauma), but as our unit was the only available unit with open beds for patients, the seventh floor was getting multiple admissions. The staff on the unit was composed of mostly new nurses. Needless to say, things were a little hectic. Julie was so supportive as a Clinical ResourceCoordinator (House Supervisor). She came to the unit, answered multiple call lights, asked staff if she could cover in any way, and covered for lunch breaks so all of the clinical nurses could eat. I felt extremely supported by Julie, and I really appreciated her help.
It isawesome when the CRC understands howbusy things can get. Julie stepped in to help us when we needed her.
