Julie, also known as the "Geri Whisper", is a vital member of the 3W Tele team. She is the most compassionate and empathetic nurse.
She teaches everyone she works with what it means to provide nursing from the heart and always reminds us to "go with our gut". Christmas this past year, she made all of our patients ornaments so that they would wake up to a gift in the morning.
She is constantly bringing in clothes or anything else she finds out her patients might need to ensure they are set when they leave our floor. Once a week she works for the VIAPP program where she goes to patients homes and provides care to those who otherwise would not have access to care. Any time you work with Julie she always checks in, asks if you need anything, and sees what she can do to help.
She reminds us all why we went into nursing and it is often heard around the nursing station "I hope I can be as good of a nurse as Julie one day". We are truly lucky to have such an amazing role model nurse on our team and believe she is a true DAISY Nurse.
