When I arrived at the ER with my mom, she was very quick to make my mom feel comfortable. Considering I’ve lived in this hospital since I was 14 (I’m now 22), I’ve seen a lot of nurses here at North Hills Hospital. My mom has suffered a lot during my life, and having a compassionate nurse is something my family looks for. She was nice, caring, compassionate, and actually LISTENED to what my mom had to say. She didn’t write off her complaints or turn a blind eye. My mom was hot? She got her a gown. My mom was in pain? She was by her side, reassuring her. She made the whole trip quick but also handled my mom with the utmost respect and care.
