julie tuttle, RN

Our GI department has an extraordinary nurse in Julie Tuttle. Our area has grown in size and staff. Julie has taken on a true leadership role in orienting and leading our new nurses and techs. She has a passion for excellent patient care and it shows. She spends time getting to know her patients and puts their fears at ease. She has been a key player in the opening of our joint venture with our GI doctors. She has spent countless hours training staff on the new computer system and protocols. While doing this, she has also become a superuser and staff liaison for Epic. She loves educating staff and has labeled her training/learning points as 'Tuttle Moments'. As part of her professional development, she is educating patient care areas on the importance and techniques of good bowel prep to ensure the best possible colonoscopy results. Julie is a shining example of our department.
