Julie is the manager of the NTSICU. She has worked tremendously hard over he past 3 years to rebuild and develop the incredible team that we have today. She has converted 10 Short term option nurses to core staff positions within the last year. This is a testament of the kind of leader that Julie truly is. She comes in early and stays late just to make sure she is able to check in with every member of her team. She is the one that nurses want to work for and the reason that we stay. Julie leads fiercely and does not hesitate to get in the trenches and walk through the fire with her staff. I have witnessed Julie on multiple occasions step into staffing not only to help her team but to grow and develop them into better nurses, preceptors and leaders.
