This nurse has cared for my son multiple times over the past 10 years. She has always provided excellent care to not only him, but our entire family. She is friendly, personable, and always makes us laugh. During one of our last visits, she discovered that we were still using an old tie for his trach because we could not find anyone to supply us the ties that we are used to using for our son. We had been washing and reusing the same ties for a year. She not only found a supplier but she worked with the trach coordinator to be sure we received our supplies before we left the hospital. She called me at home to check on us once we got home to be sure everything was going okay. We felt not only heard but truly seen and cared for because of this nurse.
