Julie is well known and highly regarded in the community. She has worked in the local medical clinic, at the Public Health Nurse Office, and currently, is the school nurse at the Pinedale middle and high schools as well as the local nursing home. Julie is not only a dedicated nurse but an extraordinary nurse. A physician writes that when she has a concern for one of her patients, she is professional in her assessments, timely in intervening in their care, and respectful of not only the patient and their family but of the on-call provider. As a school nurse, she had a special connection with her students, teachers, and parents alike. She is loving, kind, compassionate, understanding, and committed to her profession wherever her path has taken her. One of her students calls her "pure sunshine".
