Julio has been kind, patient, and helpful. When we ask for notes to be left for doctors, he is willing to do that. He ensures that communication happens. He has ensured that my mom is comfortable and has her needs met. He is respectful, empathetic, and compassionate. He sincerely wants to make a difference, which is felt in every single interaction.

This visit has been incredibly hard, and he is the best thing about this stay. He is an example of how nursing should feel. He is reflective of how it used to feel. You can tell that nursing is his calling. He wants to help patients. He can train other nurses how to honor the patient's voice, provide care, and still get it done. He is so thoughtful, and how he interacts with my mother is commendable. He treats her with dignity and respect.
