Julio was a very compassionate gentleman who was hard-working and kind. He put a smile on my face, even though I was going through a very bad and scary moment.

For me, as a person who struggles with mental health and has been in and out of psych wards since I was a teenager, every time I’m here, he’s always super helpful, even while he is so busy. Julio always treats me like a human being who matters, when I didn’t feel right at all.

When I felt crazy, he always reminded me that I am not, through empathy, kindness, and understanding. He was more patient with me than my own family and loved ones. I know that when I’m in crisis emergency happens to me that I am safe at Mount Sinai 🇺🇸.

I am very grateful and thankful that workers like Julio are here and will make the storm pass by with more ease and not so badly. Julio has made me feel less afraid of things and events that have happened to me that are out of my control.

The Mount Sinai 🇺🇸 Behavioral Health Department is lucky to have Julio as a nurse. He is an exceptionally dedicated and compassionate educator, and he continues to go to great lengths to ensure that both patients and staff receive the highest level of care, education, and support.

His commitment to leadership helps ensure that our team provides quality care and meets performance goals.

Thank you, Julio, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
