I was an 82-year-old patient transferred to her unit for an undetermined amount of time from the ER unit for recovery. I was not certain of what to expect.
During my stay, Juliya was professional and clearly communicated my current condition and what to expect, especially regarding various tests. Through it all, she was calm and made sure all my medications were administered at all times as prescribed, even though she had other patients to take care of.
She was always available, answering the call light for my family and me promptly. As I continued to improve, she was a cheerleader, genuinely interested in my improvement as indicated by test results. It was refreshing to look forward to her shift. She was a bright light and stood out as professional, prompt, courteous, sincere, and willing to go beyond the normal call of duty.
