My 21-year-old son was admitted for acute pancreatitis due to alcoholism. The second night, he began to hallucinate. He attempted to flee the hospital. When I arrived, Jun was talking quietly to him. He was so kind and gentle, and he treated my son with such love and kindness, even though at that moment, my son was sure everyone was trying to hurt him. He was also amazingly observant and responsive to my son’s pain and constantly evolving health challenges. He was also so compassionate to me and my family. Without his care, getting my son well would have been nearly impossible. All of us will be forever grateful. Jun is amazing. My daughter is a new R.N., and I hope she will follow Jun’s shining example.
