On my first day here, my wife left to go home at 3pm for a 20 min. drive to our home. June saw that my wife (age 86) needed help finding her way out to her car, so she personally walked her out. Long story short, two hours later she did not arrive home. June helped me to file a missing persons report with the Voorhees police who issued a county wide alert which resulted in locating my wife and getting her safely back home. Having just finished with my knee surgery, I was not in a good frame of mind to effectively deal with this emergency, but June jumped right in and took the initiative resulting in a safe outcome. She did this all while performing her normal responsibilities. This speaks volumes about the type of employees Virtua has. I feel that any of your employees could have done this. You can be assured that this story will be told to everyone I come in contact with and that Virtua is the only Hospital I would ever consider in the future. Thank you so much for your excellent care.
