Juris is an amazing PES nurse. He treats patients with courtesy and respect no matter what the circumstances -- whether the patient is cooperative or not, yelling obscenities or not, being threatening or not, Juris interacts in a straight-forward and compassionate manner. And, bonus, he is a great co-worker -- his can-do-attitude is much appreciated. If there is a problem, he acts to solve it. He is organized, gets an incredible amount of work done, and is always available to help. In fact, one of my goals when I work with Juris is to try to get tasks done before he does --"try" is the operative word -- he usually triumphs. In the charged environment of the PES, Juris is the steady one. His dry wit is frosting on the cake. Overall he is an excellent clinician and co-worker. Juris is an RN I have been working with since 2004. He is one of the most efficient, hardest working, conscientious and pragmatic RNs I have worked with in my capacity as a NP in the PES. He is respected and valued by all, and is compassionate and respectful with all patients and team members, in a very challenging, unique and acute setting.
