Justa had been, by far, the most important factor in making us feel well-informed about my wife's physical condition and confident that we had a good plan set to help her get better.
My wife and I arrived at the CVH Emergency Room at 1 am. She had been unable to sleep that night due to abdominal pain, and her primary care doctor recommended that she be examined promptly. During our time at CVH that night, the medical staff used a variety of efforts to determine the cause of my wife's discomfort: these included a physical exam, question and answer, blood and urine tests, and a CT scan. Throughout this comprehensive and lengthy process, a registered nurse named Justa served as our professional and reassuring guide. Justa was both friendly and engaging and also thorough and competent. She described ahead of time the how and why of various procedures. Justa checked in regularly to see if we needed anything and to update us on the status of the diagnosis process. Justa carefully went over the discharge instructions with us and answered any remaining questions we had. As we left the hospital after our three-hour visit that night, my wife and I agreed that nurse Justa had been, by far, the most important factor in making us feel well-informed about my wife's physical condition and confident that we had a good plan set to help her get better. Justa is an outstanding health care professional, and we are so glad that she was on duty early Friday morning to provide the essential support to us which she did.
