My husband was admitted this spring. He was first admitted and put in a regular room but was then moved to Intensive Care. Unfortunately, my husband passed away the next afternoon.
While in Intensive Care in the downtown location in Fargo, we had an awesome nurse. We knew him as Nurse Justin. He worked the overnight shift. This is what my children had to say about him. "He was very good at finding a balance between giving us hope and yet making sure we understood how serious the situation was. We were sure that he knew how long the odds were that things would end well, but he still took the time to care and to answer all of our questions in a way that helped us understand yet kept us as calm as possible."
My children and I felt at ease while talking to him at one of the lowest parts of our lives. He kept us very informed. My children (who are not kids, but adults) felt very at ease with Nurse Justin and felt comfortable asking him questions. My daughter-in-law is a Physician's Assistant and was also very impressed with how he handled the situation and how he made her husband, myself and my other 2 kids at ease at this very difficult time.
Thank you, Justin, for your outstanding compassion and care that you gave my husband and my family.
