The very first night in ICU when my mom was intubated, Justin demonstrated compassion for knowing who my mom was before this situation. He made excellent choices when examining and treating my mom with positioning and medications. He handled situations with my mom very respectfully even when unassigned to her during his shift. Then when my mom was struggling to get off the ventilator, he listened to me and offered gentle encouragement which was really needed. He combined the best clinical decisions with a great personality in a highly stressful situation!
