Justin has shown time after time his uncompromising commitment to compassionate, ethical, quality patient care. Even during this pandemic, Justin is always willing to care for every patient SEH has to offer without changing his compassion for our patients. Dedication to provide extraordinary service with each opportunity Justin was recently involved in a special case in the C-section area where there were many extraordinary demands placed on Justin. Many of our staff and OB staff expressed what a great job Justin did for that patient and their family.
Commitment to enhancing quality of life. Justin started a bible study group last February in the periop classroom for anyone who would like to come. Justin was able to pack this room within a month. Staff from Anesthesia, receiving room, PACU, and SDS attended. Covid stopped this group gathering, but he is ready to start this group back as soon as we give him the green light.
Respect for everyone. Justin has always had respect for everyone. He treats all SEH staff equally and does not use his position or credentials as leverage towards anyone. Trusted by the patient, family, and staff. Justin is trusted by all. His patients love him, and family adores him. Justin is highly requested to provide anesthesia for staff and patients of our community. Loves the nursing profession. Justin loves nursing in general. Justin's father was a nurse in the ICU for many years before God called him to preach. Justin did not fall far from the tree. Justin is always willing to share his knowledge he has learned with our nursing students and anesthesia students.
I am very proud of the nurse Justin has turned out to be and would highly appreciate recognition in the form of the DAISY award.

The care that Justin provides for his patients is always above and beyond. He is kind and caring. A specific example of his compassion could be seen in his devotion to caring for cesarean section patients. There was a patient with expectations outside of the normal, and he met this with a kind open mind and heart. He is this way with all patients. Justin Harrelson is an exceptional CRNA, and always goes out of his way to provide outstanding care, all while respecting patients' wishes. One particular situation involved a cesarean section patient with very specific requests, above and beyond typical patient requests. Justin joyfully accepted the patient's requests and did everything in his ability to carry out each request, all while providing safe patient care. Justin is an excellent example of someone providing emotional and spiritual care to each of his patients, and I hope he will be recognized for his selfless commitment to his patients. - A. H.
