I was in Denver on business when I was brought to Sky Ridge Medical Center with severe abdominal pain. I had a perforated colon that was caused by colon cancer that I did not know I had. It had been difficult on me and my family. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina and my family is in St Louis and South Carolina. The staff at Sky Ridge has been outstanding so it hard to imagine someone rising above the rest, but Justin has done it!
After working his night shift on Friday night he came back in early Saturday morning after going home to grab a shower and his electric trimmer to give me a much needed haircut. Justin made me feel human again after several days in the ICU and a hospital room far from home. I know Justin has a family with young children with a thousand things to do on a week-end. It's amazing that Justin would take the time out of a busy weekend with family to give this "out of towner" his much needed haircut. Thank you Justin and all the amazing staff at Sky Ridge Medical Center!
