Justin Shaw, RN
Our family is very thankful to Justin of the Oncology unit night shift, who was assigned to my husband, for his sincere love and care. He is so kind, accommodating, caring, and respectful in dealing with his patients. He has exceptional knowledge to explain to us what our medications are and what is going on with my husband's condition.
One incident happened when my husband had a chest tube procedure and came back yelling, too agitated, etc., and showed aggressive behavior, but when he saw Justin, he became peaceful, composed himself, and controlled his emotions through his gentle and friendly approach.
One more thing we appreciate about Justin is that every time he is at the unit, though not assigned to my husband, he drops by our room to say hi to my husband, which has a big impact on his condition. He felt very happy after the hello and sweet smile!
Once again, our heartfelt thanks to a very special nurse who is professional, resilient, dedicated, and great in all aspects of his job.
