Justine Bates demonstrates DAISY Nurse excellence every day. She received many nominations from coworkers and the parents of one of her long term primary patients. Justine works hard to give the best care and support the families of the babies she cares for.

Her last primary patient was inpatient for many weeks, and she went out of her way to dress him in cute clothes, hold him, be there for the family and be an integral part of the care team. When the patient was readmitted many weeks later, she stepped right back in to support the family and give wonderful care for the baby.
