Justine is the nurse we all aspire to be. She has excellent clinical skills using her assessment and time management skills well for the benefit of the patient. She looks ahead to anticipate the patients' needs and wants and calls to see if there is anything that she can do to make the transition to the floor easier for both the patient and the staff. Monday was just one of those days on the med/surg unit when one patient was leaving, another was to come, and two were confused. She called up report to me (from the ED)and said 'I know you are having a busy evening, so I completed the admission in the computer module for you.' This was just the act of kindness I needed - a boost ahead for a busy night. Thank you Justine!
