Justine is so sweet and thoughtful and caring! She'd been with us at the ICU, and she stopped by Mom's room in 5 East a couple of days later to check on us, to inquire after my mom who'd become unresponsive after a seizure yesterday. She smiled and showed caring and that she remembered us and the conversations we'd had before in ICU. She talked about my mom's smile and positive attitude.
She asked how I was doing, listened, and responded compassionately and caringly as I talked about Mom and what happened with her and my family's two battles with cancer these past several months (Dad passed two months ago).
She brings comfort and solace. She makes us feel important and valued.
She has made a beautiful impact as we go through these hard times.
