Justyna Gamez is always going above and beyond for our department. Every night, she puts forth extraordinary effort to improve the efficiency of the MIU and improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. I was in absolute awe at how she responded to our recent code crimson by implementing mock codes to ensure we were more efficient as a team when responding to codes. Once again, her time and efforts benefit our staff, but the result of her hard work is improving patient outcomes. We love Justyna and appreciate her very much! Also, the way she responds to staff feedback is to be admired. She truly values her employees.

I would recognize Justyna 100 times over again. She cares about her work, her staff, and this department. She will drop what she is doing to help you succeed. She listens and takes in our questions and concerns, adds them to her “list,” and comes back to us with results. When Justyna is working, we know it will be a good shift regardless of what comes our way. If you don’t see Justyna in her office, that’s because she is out on the floor cleaning, organizing, talking with patients, or assisting other staff. We continue receiving text messages and emails on her off days as she works from home. Justyna’s passion for nursing and the camaraderie she brings to our unit is truly inspirational.

It is an honor for me to work alongside Justyna, who is an exceptional CNC. She always surpasses expectations and goes the extra mile to support the nurses. Her mission is to prepare the nurses for success, which in turn results in excellent patient care outcomes. She always has a list of feedback from the staff and things that need improvement or change, she ensures they are addressed. The staff have great admiration and respect for Justyna.
