Jutta Beard, RN

I recently was out with Jutta on a joint visit to see her patient with a chronic wound. The patient had many nice things to say about the nursing care she has received over the last two years. I reached out to the patient after my visit and asked her if I could use her story to nominate Jutta for the DAISY Award. With her consent to share, here is her story:

"Jutta has been my nurse for over two years. She is the kindest person I know! Every time there is a problem with my wound care or medicines, Jutte gets right on the phone to get it straightened out. She is always calling my doctor to clear things up. She has always been there for me. She always has a kind word to say, and that means a lot to me. We have a lot of cats, and Jutta understands that these are my babies. She always texts me with any updates on when she is coming. She is a great nurse, and you guys are lucky to have her! I was counting the days until she got back from her vacation because I missed seeing her."
