Kacey Hensley, RN
A patient came to the hospital and was transported by a Skilled Nursing Facility. It was 24 degrees outside, the patient was wearing short sleeves and had no shoes. The patient was bathed and when his socks were removed, his skin peeled off with his socks. His feet wounds were dressed and Kacey went to the gift shop and purchased a coat for this patient to wear home. This is not the first time that this nurse has went above and beyond for a patient in need. Last year, a patient with no heat or electricity in their home had been in the hospital and the nurse went and bought the patient some blankets to take home with them. Kacey is a compassionate and kind nurse and person. I admire the passion this nurse has for helping others in need.
