February 2022 Honoree
Kaila Odom, RN
I am a very nervous patient. I am so afraid of medicine that I will hardly take it. Kaila was so patient with me. She explained everything they gave me and eased my mind. She was very kind and compassionate. Her care made me feel so much better about my stay even without family visits. I want to thank her for being such a wonderful nurse.
***
I had Kaila as my daytime nurse and she was so nice and helpful when I needed assistance. She is a very kind person and helped me through the severe depression episodes that I had while in the hospital. She was a good listener and it just helped to talk to her to get through the depression. I could tell that Kaila has a passion for helping people, she was so kind and gentle. Whenever I called her, she was prompt in addressing my need. If she could not make it there, she would send in the nursing assistant to check on me until she could get there. She stood out among all the nurses that I had while in the hospital. She is really good at her job and had a great bedside manner. I just can't say enough about how she helped me during my stay.
