Kaitlan Hoelz, RN

I am nominating nurse Kaitlan for her enthusiasm, compassion, and ingenuity! My father is 93 years old and coming to terms with his current health condition. The nurses in the ICU have been wonderful! When Kaitlan asked him if he wanted anything my dad replied with "Sure, can I have a chocolate shake?" and Kaitlan said, "Let me see what I can do!" Later she returned and said, "Sorry this took so long, I had to wait for the ice cream to melt so I could stir it". None of that mattered to my dad, he drank it with lumps and all! For the next 2 days, he asked for a chocolate shake and the nurses have all come up with their own delicious shakes! If it weren't for Kaitlan, his special afternoon snack would not be had!
