Kaitlin Hall, ADN

For me, the very idea of surgery is traumatic. Today’s event was actually a hernia surgery for my husband. Though this is his third round of this type of surgery, it makes me anxious nevertheless. From the moment we arrived, my husband stoic as ever, and I clutching my purse until my knuckles were white, Kaitlin made today so much better. Kaitlin put me at ease immediately.

As I am rather OCD and crave details, explanations, and what is next, etc., Kaitlin was so thoughtful and thorough with everything. The various procedures and steps, a clear, linear timeline of how today was going to go. She was gracious and patient, and I truly appreciated the timing of her “levity” with the situation. Kaitlin is remarkable with her stellar patient/guest communication skills. I am sure her technical skills, as witnessed, are top-notch. It is her personable skills that truly equate to her professional star power. I am so very grateful. Many thanks to all here at Hudson Hospital. This was a very good decision to come here.
