Kaitlin is a very special nurse, in my opinion. She was assigned to me the day that I had surgery. She was so caring, I wanted to take her home. I was in my room after surgery and I was cold, shaking, and having trouble waking up from surgery. Kaitlin was there the entire time, holding my hand and keeping me warm. She went above and beyond the call of duty. I am not afraid to say but I loved Kaitlin and how she treated me.

When I came out of surgery, Kaitlin was assigned to me. This was my first time in a hospital, and she was amazing in every way possible. She went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. Her presence and knowledge put me at ease and allowed me to trust her judgment while attempting to control pain and heal. She is the embodiment of what this unit's nurse should be - compassionate, genuinely caring, knowledgeable, and willing to work how she needs to - to be the patient advocate and achieve clinical outcomes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
