Kaitlin is one of the most authentically, genuinely compassionate, and caring people I have ever had the honor of meeting in 6 decades on this planet. The most meaningful, valuable difference this nurse made to me was inspiring. I was in extremely deep stomach and bile duct pain...She easily could have been stubborn and unempathetic and made me linger in agony… Due to the nurse's loving insight and genuine care, the nurse knew that I was void of all pretense or deceit and was in genuine pain beyond reproach. The nurse assured me she would do all in her power to comfort me and provide me with a solution to my +8 pain. ​ ​

She went out of her way, contacted the physician, and imparted my issue to him. The doctor swiftly agreed with her heartfelt call and took her steadfast love and tolerance to keep my dignity and integrity intact. She saved me from what could have been the most painful experience of my life, yet turned it into a peaceful, healing, and pain-free pleasant evening!!! The nurse's decision to risk her pride and ego and leave her comfort zone to make a stranger comfortable was extraordinary, and Kaitlin should be acknowledged for her greatness. I will never forget their love and compassion. ​
