Kaitlin Smith, RN

My mother and I were traveling for vacation from Georgia. She had an episode of intractable pain that delayed our return home. By the time we arrived in the ED I had been attempting to manage her pain in a hotel room for six days, and not slept more than 2 hours at a time during that time. Kaitlin was our ED nurse. She was kind, gracious, and professional. Kaitlin listening to my mother, heard my distress as the sole provider a thousand miles away from home. Kaitlin advocated for her patient and offered me support as well. I am grateful for her holistic care and gentle spirit. Kaitlin made a true difference in our lives. We find it hard to fully express our gratitude to Kaitlin and Methodist Hospital!
