Kaitlyn Barber, RN

After having been found down in her home, a patient was admitted and had a very emotional reaction to some stressful events during her stay. Kaitlyn Barber recognized the PTSD-type reaction and comforted the patient with sincere, heartfelt compassion. Kaitlyn sat with the patient helping her calm down and relax, but was so moved by the stress the patient had endured that she made the patient a card and brought her a cupcake the next day. The family was very impressed with Kaitlyn’s loving, supportive gestures and felt a huge sense of comfort knowing Kaitlyn was caring for their family member.
