Kaitlyn’s phenomenal nursing care started in the waiting room when she came to get my baby. She greeted her so warmly and called her “friend”. She made beautiful conversation with my daughter while examining her. They spoke about her pet rat, sewing, and crocheting. My daughter’s finger and hand were very sore, and Kaitlyn had this way of telling her about what she was doing, but also remaining very upbeat and positive.

Kaitlyn communicated with me the same way regarding my child’s care. She was extremely professional, relatable, and a joy to be around. She obtained the full story about what happened to my daughter and asked more questions to get a well-rounded understanding of what was going on. She brought in another nurse and made our story sound so fun and interesting so that this nurse could also help my daughter with the same approach. My daughter didn’t cry or become upset the entire visit.  Kaitlyn relayed the doctor’s instructions to us in a very understandable and achievable way. I believe she displayed every value that St. Tammany Hospital envisions, plus some. To say she went above and beyond expectations is an understatement. I’d have Kaitlyn over for Thanksgiving dinner.
