Kaitlyn worked all day with her patient to avoid a c-section. This patient was on her 4th day of induction. This was her first baby. The baby was malpositioned & Kaitlyn used all of her skills and knowledge to get the baby to rotate. She repositioned the patient every 15 minutes with an epidural. Kaitlyn never gave up and advocated for her patient's desire for a vaginal delivery. She worked above and beyond. The doctor was actively talking to the patient about a c-section and was able to deliver vaginally. The patient was so appreciative of all her work to make sure she didn't have a c-section.
