I was touched by the compassion, respect, professionalism, attentiveness, kindness, and patience that Kaitlyn Vasquez showed my brother. Her approach made it appear like my brother was her only patient. Nothing was rushed. Without her saying a word, I understood the importance of nurses, their role on a care team, and recovery.
