July 2022 Honoree
Kaitlynn Darling, RN
Kaitlynn really goes above and beyond to make sure her patients are as comfortable as can be. She is on top of every call light. I am not proud of what brought me to the hospital. I was an IV street drug user, and this is honestly the longest I have stayed even against Doctor’s orders. I have always walked out to go get high and even though Kaitlynn caught me trying to do drugs and took what I had and reported me to have my things searched. But after talking with her and realizing I’m not just a junkie off the street. I also had the support of my two greatest accomplishments, my babies. Seeing a stranger, Kaitlynn, show me that I’m worth living made me open my eyes because for some reason before I didn’t think I was.
So, I would love to be able to have Kaitlynn awarded so she knows what a difference she has at least made in my life and most importantly my kids. Gives me so much hope that I can beat this battle and become a better sober mother and person, leaving here better than I came in but regardless I would like to thank you, Kaitlynn. You’re a DAISY to me and I’m sure to many others also.
