Kaleb Springer, LPN

Kaleb is Superman. He has left a profound, positive impact on one of our most traumatizing days. He went above, beyond, and back again to help manage my dad's care during his admission. What was supposed to be a streamlined cardiac observation turned into a 12-hour management of GI bleed symptoms, vital signs, and emotions, until we were able to elevate his level of care. Kaleb was open, receptive, and deeply invested in my dad's care. He worked critically and effortlessly to manage all the moving aspects with grace and confidence. Even in moments of chaos, he took time to pause, ensure we understood the care plan and how best to support him, and even share moments of humor with us. Watching him work alongside a variety of staff, and the respect and teamwork mentality he displayed, was commendable. His leadership is to be celebrated- he was consistently checking in with his colleagues, encouraging alternative ideas as they were brought to him, and was able to balance education and learning opportunities while actively navigating a dynamic, critical situation. My siblings and I cannot speak highly enough of Kaleb, his professionalism, and critical care skills. We as a family would not have survived that day without Kaleb, and I know my dad would not have either. He is an elite advocate and leader - we are forever grateful for him and his care.
