Kallen Kjellin was my first-night nurse when I was inpatient for chemo. She knew I liked Hello Kitty and wore her Hello Kitty shirt the next night for me. We became friends right away. The next month she came on her day off and brought me sparkly nail polish in my favorite color. This helped me keep busy during inpatient chemo. She also wrote a special birthday card to my mom and brought that to her. She always takes good care of me. She sits and talks with me and makes me feel special. Every night she gets me up to pee so my mom can sleep. She makes my mom really happy. I just love her, and everyone should know what a great nurse she is.
