It is hard to put into words just how amazing Nurse Kallen was during my daughter's thirteen-day hospital stay. She was attentive, patient, kind, caring, fun, and informative. She answered questions in detail, explained everything she did, and really paid attention to my child's needs. She was so attentive that she even noticed a slight change in my daughter's coloring and immediately knew what to check for and what to do for the low blood sugar she was experiencing. Kallen absolutely saved the day as my daughter was feeling terrible. What really stood out, however, was the time she took over the many shifts we spent together talking to my daughter, comforting her, encouraging her, and lifting her spirits. Kallen's words, demeanor, and personality immediately clicked with my daughter, and she would get excited to see her on the next shift and to give her an update on her progress or what had been going on since she last saw her. To say Kallen was the most incredible nurse imaginable is an understatement. She was a vital part of my daughter's recovery, and we could never thank her enough. She is just the best, and we know she has a very, very bright future!
