Kami is amazing. She is the warmest person I have ever met. I adore her. Being in the medical field is not an easy job and being a nurse is even more challenging. Kami is the perfect example of what a MaineGeneral employee should be. I was terrified when I had to stay in the hospital by myself after my emergency surgery. She was the first face I saw when I got to my room. The 5 nights I was inpatient were made a lot easier with her around. She would tell me, "I'll be back at 12:00," and she would be there on the dot. If she couldn't make it to my room exactly when she promised, she would send a coworker to tell me she'd be in soon. We need more nurses like her. Thank you, Kami. Never change.
