Kami listened to a family's concerns about their loved one who was soon to be discharged. They felt the patient "just didn't seem right." Kami carefully checked over the medications with the family and found that the dosage for one medication was more than was needed. Kami worked to get the patient on the correct dosage. She did not look the other way or ignore what the family was telling her. She listened and responsed, which resulted in better care and a delighted family.
