Kamille is a kind, hardworking, and selfless oncology nurse who lights up our unit. She always carries a positive demeanor with her and is the first person to offer help to anyone in need. Kamille perfectly embodies the compassionate and hardworking nurse that many strive to be. Not only is she a fantastic nurse, but she is truly a wonderful human that beams positivity and grace that everyone gravitates toward. On many occasions, Kamille offers to stay over when the unit is short-staffed. She often prays with her patients when requested and will jump in on any critical situation.
Kamille is always patient-focused, professional, and always supports her coworkers to ensure they succeed. There are countless examples of how outstanding she is with her patient and their families and frequently goes above and beyond for them. Kamille exemplifies the qualities of a DAISY recipient, and although she could-she never speaks arrogantly about how much of a great provider she is.
It's not just that Kamille is kind, deeply compassionate, and highly skilled - it's that she is this way towards all her patients, without bias. Many are inspired by Kamille and definitely look up to her as a role model. We are so lucky to have her! Congratulations Kamille!
