Kandi was my labor and delivery nurse. I was sent in by my OB to be induced due to high blood pressure. I am a first-time mom and had never experienced any part of labor before. Kandi helped me from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I walked out. She always made sure I was taken care of and never left me wondering what was going on. There were numerous different times her care stood out to me. The first was the way she explained the labor process. Although she wasn’t the nurse who delivered my baby, I kept playing her advice over and over in my head, and every tip she gave me worked. Another time was we had a scare with the baby’s oxygen dropping. Of course, we were all scared, and she assured us it was okay, got it under control, and then explained why it was happening. She comforted my partner, my family, and me in such a deep scar. One more time, her over-the-top care stood out when I was having painful contractions; she showed my partner how to use counter pressure to ease the pain. This saved me for a couple more hours before the epidural. She truly made everything so peaceful and gave me the labor and delivery experience I dreamed of. She was the best nurse I have ever had, and I hope everyone gets to experience her kind heart during labor and delivery. She deserved the world!! Thank you so, so much, Kandi!

Thank you, Kandi, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
