Kandiece Johnson, RN, AD

We are honored to commend Kandiece Johnson for the exceptional compassion, dedication, and patient-centered care she consistently provides as an ECT nurse. Though early in her tenure here, she has quickly distinguished herself. Kandiece goes above and beyond to ensure that every patient feels respected, supported, and cared for. Her calm demeanor, genuine kindness, and ability to connect with patients and families help create an environment of trust and comfort.

Whether offering reassurance before and after ECT treatments, she carefully addresses concerns and provides emotional support to patients and their families. Kandiece demonstrates extraordinary empathy in every interaction. For example, when one nonverbal patient arrived for an ECT session visibly distressed, appearing unkempt, and in need of additional support and care. Kandiece recognized the patient’s vulnerable condition and responded with dignity, kindness, and appropriate advocacy for their comfort and care. She coordinated with additional support services to assist with the patient’s needs. She was the voice of a patient who had an inability to communicate verbally and advocated on their behalf.

What truly distinguishes Kandiece is her unwavering commitment to patients’ well-being. She consistently advocates for her patients, ensuring that both physical and emotional needs are met. Her ability to treat each individual with dignity and kindness reflects the very essence of nursing excellence.
